Hello! My name is Katie and I am the owner of Chasin' Grace Boutique. I am a 22-year-old university student + social worker. I was born and raised on my families fourth generation farm outside of Stony Plain, Alberta. I graduated with a Social Work Diploma and am currently pursuing my final year of my Bachelor of Social Work. I know that I am called to be a social worker and to serve people, but I definitely have an entrepreneur heart as well. I am excited to pursue both of my dreams, as a social worker and an entrepreneur.
I got my entrepreneur spirit and heart from my entire family - from my grandparents, to parents, to my siblings. My grandparents recently gifted my parents with a memory book; within this book I learned about the various business adventures that my grandparents, on both sides of my family, explored and started. I am thankful to have grown up on our family farm as it provided me with not only memories, but lessons and values. I see the hustle and heart that both of my parents pour into our family farm every day. The farm has taught me to always work hard, to value family and community, to pursue my goals and to always give back to others. My siblings and sister-in-law have each pursued their own business adventures which I admire immensely. When I told my grandpa that I was starting Chasin' Grace his words to me were "nothin' ventured, nothin' gained."
Chasin' Grace then began in September of 2020 and it came together fast when my parents encouraged me to jump right in. Chasin' Grace is operated in the heart of Parkland County, Alberta serving Canada wide.
With the help of my momma, the name Chasin' Grace was decided. As a believer and follower of Christ, I know that I have been carried by His grace and I will forever follow and listen to the teachings that He gives me. By grace I will walk humbly, love genuinely and serve people with grace, love and light. Always.
